More than just a hobby

Its simply what we were born to do

With our team of storytellers and adventuresmiths you are in good hands. Our team has over 30 years of combined storytelling experience under our belts. We have managed games from the tabletop, online, in the forest and almost everything in between. We spend many hours each and every week planning, creating and discovering new ways to bring the fantasy to life.

Since early 2014 we have been running LARP events in eastern Michigan and we are looking to continue growing our staff. Everyone on our council is passionate about providing the best experience possible and we all have our different specialties which encompass the various aspects of what makes our LARP awesome and unique.

Fathom Forge Rule System

The rules for the Warriors of Light Live Action Role Play were designed to be easy to understand for new players and veterans alike while still maintaining a deep amount of character customization and flexibility. The rules currently support Role Play in a Fantasy setting that is provided in the world of Eos or nearly any that is based in a world of sword and sorcery. To learn more about the classes and race playable in or game read more about The World Eos or about the system on the Fathom Forge website.

WoL is exactly what i was looking for in a LARP. Remember those times when you were a kid and played pretend and forgot you were just a little kid? This is like that but better. No one's gonna call you home when it gets dark and the costumes and acting are much better. It's so immersive at times i forget that it's not real. Definitely worth checking out. Whether you are a first time player or a vet you will find something about this LARP to like.

Jayne Redcloud

I have been LARPing for 7 Years, coming to WOL is the best experience of any game I have attended. The passion and commitment by the staff is driven by players first, storytelling, atmosphere and then combat. making it one of the most immersive experiences I have ever had.
